striking off positive impacts of men.
i am getting sick of geography.
i just realised something. geog is most probably the easiest subject to study. everything is linked.
for example, deforestation upsets the ecosystem. when on organism die, another die and blablabla. deforestation in turn lead to climatic change cos there will be more carbon dioxide. more carbon dioxide will cause an increase in greenhouse gases, which will lead to global warming, which will cause the world temperature to rise, causing an increase in sea level and flooding low lying areas. global warming will cause an increase in water vapour (which increases temperature), resulting in an unbalance amount of rain, thus causing dry areas to be even dryer and heat waves occuring more frequently. excessive rain will cause wet areas to be even wetter, thus resulting in more flood. therefore, deforestation triggers off a series of chain reactions (?), causing a change in world climate. deforestation increases soil erosion, causing the fertile topsoil to be blown away, leaving behind infertile land, which will be barren. as a result desertification would occur, causing an increase in arid land and a decrease in arable land.
tada! an-almost-summary on the negative impacts of men on environment. elaborations are left out. some other information are left out too. haha. geog is rather easy to study. and negative impacts will always be easier to study as compared to postitive impacts. we tend to think on the negative side. xD
ok. have to go back to mug le.
