ok. just some quick updates.
will be doing flag day for the children cancer fund. yea. will be selling mini t-shirts at $5 each. xD i think flag day is fun! but i only prefer to do those which only require us to hold a can and stone there. HAHA. xD flag day for athritis foundation is fun! me and jeanne went city hall (the overhead bridge linking citylink and suntect) to collect money. the people are super generous! some donated cos they wanted to empty their wallets. haha. they just poured out the whole pouch of coins. haha. there are some people i rmb very clearly.
scene one, two young kids were walking, older sister and younger brother, both not over the age of 12.
boy: eh jie! we go help them la! *points to me*
me thinking: eh help me or the foundation?
girl donates 50c boy donates $1, walk away
boy: jie! ta men heng ke lian de! we must help them! i like donating! i just donated one dollar!
girl: YOU SIAO AH? DONATE SO MUCH?
boy: must help what!
HAHAHA. so nice. xD
foreigners are really much much much more generous than locals. when locals see me, they lower their head, walk fast fast, and took a longer path just to avoid me. wow. and in comparison, the older generation tends to donate more than the younger generation. i didn't really give away too many stickers.
someone donates.
me: thank you. *takes out a sticker and offers to him*
him: no it's ok. thank you. (:
people actually rejected my sticker! -.- haha. in the end i only finished one and a half piece of paper of stickers. haha.
scene two, two teenage girls walking, just donated to jeanne who was standing in front of me.
girl 1: hey i want to donate again!
girl 2: ok me too!
girl 2 donates $1
girl 1 donated a dollar coin first, continue digging and took out a two dollar note.
girl 1: i bet you (me) are very happy now. cos last time when i did flag day, i was very happy when someone put in a two dollar note.
-.-
ya but they are very nice. haha. ok thats all for flag day.
did translation for sabbaticals. it started off sian, and as days go by, i realise the teacher is actually very nice. and we watched a movie on the last day! the interpreter by nicole kidman and this guy. haha. yea. watched it during the last 2.5 hours on friday. IT WAS SUPER NICE. when president zuwanie (sp?) read out the paragraph, i almost cried. the movie is super nice. (:
hmm. PTM today. i don't know what happened at the PTM cos i didn't go with my parents. not that i wanted to go see mr. khong/zhenglaoshi desperately. well. i didn't know how it turned out and i don't wish to know. i guess i would just get negative feedbacks. whatever. and i just went to take my report book. and i realised the highest overall results i have ever gotten was 74%. o dont even remember getting an overall so high. -.- the lowest was last yr's CA, 70.14%. hai. nvm. i had promised to get 75% average for CA2. i promise, and i will.
and please i don't want to see a 74 on my report book anymore!!! i would rather see 73 than 74. 74 is like, that much to get A1!! -.- ok jiayou jiayou! xD have faith. my math had been the highest in sec1, until chinese took over in sec2 (sec2 math was really screwed up), and now it's chemistry dominating over ALL other subjects. it's like comparing a high A1 with a low B4. wow. haha. it's quite fun looking through my report book figuring out the lowest and highest point in each subject. i can have a pai hang bang on my results le lor.
examinable subjects+non-examinable subjects (haha)
lowest subject (score+average): HISTORY. (after that horrendous EOY paper last yr)
highest subject (score): math
highest subject (overall): HCL. can't believe it.
highest mark ever appeared in my report book: PE. ironic. 98/100 for badminton. HAHAHA. how i wish that was some marks of a subject. haha.
anyway. i will jiayou de! but i still dont wish to know the comments of the whoever tcher whom my parents talked to.
milo is on tuesday! a lot of people are bringing their luggage over. O.O i think i will be bringing my racketbag and if necessary, a sling bag for everyday's use. i was figuring how am i going to fill up my luggage, if i'm bringing one over. it's only 5-6 days. ya. and when i go for holidays over a month, i tend to only bring a luggage that is only half filled, and bring a three quater full one back. should have bought more things. -.- guess i will save every trouble to carry as lil thing as possible. if not very ma fan. haha. and most likely i will wear my slippers there, buy a new one, and throw away my current one. haha. and i wont be bringing shampoo/soap/towel/comb/mirror cos i'm going to kop from the hotel. haha. maybe i will bring a comb and a small bottle of head&shoulders there. xD oh h&s had some new formula, wonder if it is good. but i still like the mint one. super cool and refreshing. xD
so what should i bring?
4/5 shirts
3 pair of shorts
one pair of berms
one pair of long pants
squash shoes and racket
passport
undergarments
accessories (earrings/sticks, clips etc)
mp3 player
handphone? wonder mine can use overseas or not
i think thats enough already eh! i doubt i will be wearing the pair of long pants often. i think racketbag is enough already lor... -.- faeces is saying that she will wear 3 sets of clothes a day. like totally crazy. 我不喜欢做麻烦事. i doubt i will bring my handphone. ok. i think i'm like bringing lesser things as compared to OBS. haha.
nvm. will crack my brain thinking what else more i need.
anyway. i wrote a poem for my xuexidangan. i think it is like one of best poem i had ever written. and im so happy that i didn't do anything for the rest of the night. -.- stupid. haha. but the poem is really very very nice. so im chao happy. xD
on the other hand. i will off to watch the trio train. haha. and going for supper at ahmei kaya toast. the roti prata is so nice. (: yum.
and SORRY YEELIN! not that you will read my blog anyway. ya sorry to let you make a wasted trip. >.< I PROMISE I WILL TREAT YOU TO MEESIAM TOMORROW. (:
oh shit. ankle is hurting now. i still have to depend on painkillers. argh.
