ITALY WINS 5-3 ON PENALTY.

YAY! sorry for late entry though. haha. I WAS SUPER SCARED FOR ITALY DURING THE PENALTY LA! hands were super cold and i was shivering/shaking la. all thanks to the italy's penalty jinx. luckily they won. me xianyun and shanti were having mass conversation on the phone and we were like screaming crazily into the phone. haha. xianyun's mum even came down to scold her. -.- and my whole family is like supporting france la. wth. i'm like there alone cheering for italy. -.- haha. anyway i was damn happy that italy won! xD

but i was very disappointed in ZIZOU. he was the reason france came so far, and yet he threw it all away by losing his cool. and was (partially) the reason for france's defeat. what a waste to end your career in this way. hai. AND THE COACH. WHY BRING DOWN YOUR BEST STRIKER IN THE SECOND HALF OF EXTRA TIME? the only person who is capable of scoring is thierry henry, and yet you substituted him. what a waste. (although i'm happy that henry (and zidane) is down, but i think it's quite a waste.)

well i lost $10 from this world cup cos i bet on 1X2. yea but it's ok la. championship odds priced at $1.35. -.- haha. GO ITALY!

i wonder why cannavaro looks so calm during the penalty shoot-out. I NEARLY HAD A HEART ATTACK CAN! watching soccer is apparently bad for the heart. everytime france shoot (which is a lot of times after the second half), my heart will, like, LEAP OUT la! can really die of heart attack lor. haha. xD

anyway podolski won the best young player award. WHY NOT MESSI?? :( I VOTED FOR MESSI LA! :( aye. never mind. podolski is quite good too. haha. xD

zidane won the golden ball. WHY NOT CANNAVARO??? my impression of zidane was totally off after the head-butting incident. zizou, WHY? france's player. i think he deserves the award too. well. cannavaro, tough luck. :/

klose won the golden shoe award, 5 goals. expected (unless henry miraculously scores 3 goals in the finals, which is like impossible due to the solid defence of italy). ronaldo won it in 2002 with 8 goals. what does it show? 2006 world cup lesser goals scored. the 2nd lowest since 1990 i think. haha. nvm la. i think klose is quite shuai eh! haha. xD

anyway BRAZIL and spain shared the fair play award! yay! GO BRAZIL!! xD

ayes. i'm suffering from world cup withdrawal syndrome. :( i'm like super free at night now. haiz. NVM. i'm asking my mum to order the sports channels so i can watch EPL spanish league etc too. haha. euro qualifying rounds starting soon. EPL starting 5 weeks+ later. HEH. i will definitely be more occupied then. xD
