defensive blunders cost leaders man utd to suffer their fourth premiership loss at fratton park. taylor's goal in the 30th min gave the home team an early lead, and rio ferdinand's comical own goal in the 89th minute sealed the away team's fate. o'shea's late goal (90min) is perhaps the only consolation to them. man u's defeat saw the gap between them and chelsea to be cut to only 3 points.

then followed by defending champions-- chelsea.

carvalho's superb second-half goal gave the title chasers what they wanted--3 points. this match-winning shot narrowed the gap btw them and leaders man utd to just 3 points. [:

despite reading controlling the ball more in the second-half, liverpool proved to be the more dangerous team. kyut headed home the winner just 5mins from time to move liverpool 5 points ahead of the gunners.

lastly, arsenal.

ARSENAL 0 WEST HAM 1

arsenal suffered their first defeat at the emirates stadium as relegation battlers recorded a shock 0-1 away win. the gunners dominated long enough (30 shots, 15 on goal, 64% possession time compared to westham, 6 shots, 5 on goal, 36% possession) to score at least 10 goals , but the hammers, inspired by their goalkeeper, green, weathered the storm and snatched a shocked the lead through zamora's goal before half-time. arsenal's defeat at home caused them to fall behind liverpool (currently in third place) by 5 points, and were now unexpectedly pressurized by bolton, who are hot on their heels with a 2-point gap.

liverpool bounced back from the previous 2 defeats by arsenal to give the away team a total whitewash! crouch has also recorded his first hat-trick in a liverpool shirt.

psv seemed to be playing a half-hearted game. but anyway, WE JUST TOTALLY OWNED!! xD

yeah. and the premiership win over reading has also set the stage for the second leg match against psv on wednesday, at anfield.
