for three long months, we have been floating aimlessly like space astronauts, crossing out each day on the calendar as though counting down to the holidays. for more than 12 saturday nights, time has been wasted hopping around channels and "doing stuffs". saturday new papers have filled with nothing but random reports on signings and team/manager/player facts. for 3 long months, my blog posts are full of random stuffs except for soccer. well, enough of all these crap. the time of the year has finally arrived. the time all soccer fanatics have been bracing for.

well, first match of the season and it has already brought us plenty of surprise, with sunderland springing an unexpected win over spurs with an injury-time goal from chopra. the sunderland players were a hardworking bunch and their hard work had indeed been paid off. spurs sort of played a half-hearted game and they really have to shake off their poor form in this match to finish strongly like last season.
