okay my drama streak starts yesterday. i've watched musicals for two consecutive days, under pressure and here lies love.

under pressure was pretty decent, just for laughs. it was funny but it got irritating when they start spamming puns. the storyline is common and predictable. and it gets cheesy sometimes. =/ same stuffs, huan chang hazards. x/ like a whole minute of blackout. and their kaisheng really CMI. they just start mumbling at the crucial times i.e. during a...confession etc. =(

as for here lies love, my expectations of it is reallyreally high. but it just disappoints me. the storyline is really confusing. it is supposedly three story but the second one is just too short to tell anything. =/ they've got a same set throughout the entire musical and the used props to signify a change between the stories, such as curtains etc. but....haiz some stuffs are just redundant. btw the male lead's breathing is really heavy and distracting and irritating. can't stand it. rah. but anyways the songs are way better than under pressure and they are composed by the students. zai. love paris's solo "what great tales would they tell of us". her voice is really good.

anyway both musicals are rather draggy. note to self: do not make this mistake too. xD

okayokay. i'll be getting more drama exposure next week.
